During September and October, there have been a number of reported attempted house break ins as well as a sudden increase in the theft of motor vehicles in Kenridge and surrounding areas. Three vehicles from Kenridge Primary School were stolen, so we are advising parents to be vigilant when parking at the school. It is suspected that the criminals are using remote jamming and are targeting older model vehicles. Please ensure your vehicle is actually locked before walking away, dont take it for granted that your remote locking system works all the time.
Last year this time there was an increase in crime, as a result the patrollers are on alert and we hope that we are not heading for the same pattern again this year
If you notice any suspicious activity of any kind please contact CNI’s 24 hour control room on 0861 264 000 immediately.
